OTHER PLACES

Travelling has always been one of the structural elements of my life. From it, I capture disturbing and original impressions, which are the very basis of painting.

Even if photographs and articles are a replacement to this form of painting today, the fact remains that intimate paintings, through their silence and contemplation, are a mode of expression all the more valuable because of the personal nature of the artist's experience. On canvas or paper, painting remains the best-suited projection surface to accommodate the emotions and impressions of a moment and give them new forms.
