Irreconcilable breakpoint and overflowing energy, painful historical strata and exuberant creativity, imperfect and completely unpredictable, the German capital continues to intrigue me. Undergoing perpetual transformation for over twenty years, the city has grown from a building site to an entirely renewed urban landscape evoking impressions that we attempt to capture and freeze for projection on large formats.

The eccentric cultural life, animation and incessant movement prevailing in the streets and all the small exciting details are particularly attractive to an artist. My personal challenge is to recreate this modernity and teeming life by techniques said to be "classic".
